Dr. Thanassi Athanassopoulos, an Oxford-trained plastic surgeon, founded Alpha Hospital Group after 25 years of experience in the NHS. He recognised that patients in the North of Scotland deserved access to the same quality of care available in London's prestigious Harley Street.
Expansion Across Scotland
What began as a single surgeon's dream grew into a comprehensive healthcare destination, with dedicated facilities established in Aberdeen, Inverness and Inverurie — each meticulously designed to the same exceptional standard of clinical excellence and boutique hospitality.
