Breast Augmentation
Overview
Breast augmentation enhances volume and shape for patients with naturally smaller breasts, volume loss after pregnancy or weight change, or asymmetry. The procedure uses implants selected to match your chest width and tissue characteristics, creating results that suit your anatomy rather than an arbitrary cup size.
The objective is a natural result that fits your frame, not an artificial appearance. For patients with significant droop, a lift with implants (augmentation-mastopexy) may be the better option.
What to Expect
Breast augmentation is usually performed under general anaesthetic. The procedure involves creating an implant pocket in the planned plane, implant insertion using sterile technique, symmetry checks, and meticulous layered closure. Implant placement is anatomy-led: submuscular or dual-plane placement is often chosen when tissue coverage is limited; subglandular may suit patients with sufficient tissue. Recovery involves tightness and swelling in the first week, with most patients returning to desk work within 2-4 weeks. Shape continues to settle over 3-12 months as scars soften.

Improve shape and projection
Create a more balanced silhouette in and out of clothing
Improve symmetry as far as anatomy allows
Restore fullness lost after pregnancy or weight change
Durable structural change with predictable shaping
Anatomy-led implant planning to prevent regret

Our Services

Breast Augmentation
A surgical procedure to increase breast size and improve shape using silicone or saline implants. We use a range of high-quality implants selected to match your chest dimensions and tissue characteristics for a result that looks and feels natural.

Hybrid Augmentation (Implant and Fat Transfer)
Combines breast implants for core volume with fat transfer (grafting) to the cleavage or upper pole. This technique softens the implant edges and provides extra coverage, offering a very natural contour, particularly for thinner patients.

Unilateral Breast Augmentation
Designed for patients with significant asymmetry. An implant is placed in only one breast, or different sized implants are used in both, to improve symmetry and balance the overall silhouette.

Augmentation-Mastopexy (Lift + Implants)
A combined procedure for patients who want to increase volume but also have sagging (ptosis). A breast lift removes excess skin and reshapes the breast tissue, while the implant restores fullness, addressing both shape and size in one operation.

FAQs
How do I know what size to choose?
We plan using measurements and proportion, not cup sizes. You’ll be counselled on what is realistic for your chest width, tissue quality, and desired look.
Do I need a lift as well?
If there is significant droop, implants alone may not create a lifted result. Augmentation-mastopexy may be recommended in selected cases.
Will I be able to breastfeed?
Many women can, but it is not guaranteed. Risks vary depending on anatomy and whether additional procedures are involved.
How long do implants last?
Implants are not lifetime devices. Many last years without issues, but future surgery may be needed due to rupture, capsular contracture, or preference changes.
When can I return to work and exercise?
Desk work is commonly possible within 2-4 weeks. Exercise returns gradually after 6 weeks if cleared; heavy lifting may take longer.
